Drawing and painting have interested me since I was a very young child. I managed to get to A Level standard at school and returned to Evening Life Drawing Classes after leaving school. I have remained interested in the human form ever since.

I became interested in watercolour and joined a local group with an extremely talented and wonderful teacher, Lorna Murray. She helped me develop my skills further and gave me a wonderful start in appreciating the works of talented artists.

The Tadworth Art Group accepted me as a member in 2006 and I have been Secretary with them for the last six years.

We exhibit twice yearly at our venues at Chipstead and Tadworth. We meet each week to paint together and exchange views and have demonstrations from invited speakers. Once a year we go away for a weekend to paint in different surroundings, enjoy the company of other members and find new scenes to paint.
